Provisional schedule
The course will begin on Monday 10 August at 10:15 and will end with a public concert on Saturday 15 August at the church in Arques-la-Bataille (38 hours spread over 6 days).
Monday 10 August: welcome and start of musical work
- 17:45 : « A Short Guide to Ornamentation in Schütz’s Music »: lecture by Marc Meisel – Académie Bach premises
- 20:00 : harpsichord recital: « Bach’s Partitas, » Céline Frisch (location to be confirmed)
Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 August: musical work from 10:00 to 17:30 – details of the days to be specified later
- musical work in tutti and small groups
- individual work by keyboardists and alternation between working on pieces without singers (on the organ or harpsichord), writing certain arrangements, and playing in an ensemble
Wednesday 12 August:
- 20:00 : « Origins of the dance suite »: lecture by Jean-Paul Combet – Conservatoire de Dieppe
Friday 14 August:
- 20:00 : concert « Bach’s Psalm 51 » by Marine Fribourg and Myriam Arbouz (vocals), Marc Meisel (great organ), and a string quartet – Arques-la-Bataille Church
Saturday 15 August:
- 10:30 : participation in the Mass of the Assumption (to be confirmed)
- 20:00 : end-of-course concert – Arques-la-Bataille Church
